Dr. Randall Felts is a 1976 graduate of Washington State University (Go Cougs!). After all these years he still loves being a veterinarian. Diagnosing and treating medical cases with the latest knowledge is his passion. He truly cares about and enjoys our wonderful clients, loves dog kisses and adores kitty head-butts. He loves teaching you all about what is best for your pet. He can’t wait to get home from work to see Linguini, his crazy Clumber Spaniel. He and his wife love road biking, in the U.S. or in Italy! The Cougars and Mariners are his favorite teams. His specialty is creating bedtime stories for his grand-kids involving a mythical dinosaur kingdom.
Dr. Jon Cullom arrived at Marine View in the spring of 2008. A Washington native, Dr. Cullom received his degree in 2006 from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. His interests away from work include running, cycling, gardening and spending time with his wife Heather, also a vet, daughter Charlotte, and son Elliott.
Dr. Gabby Mentis joined the Marine View team in 2019 after receiving her veterinary degree from Cornell University. Hailing from New York, she trekked across the country to experience life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Her desire to help the beloved animals we accept into our families motivates her to use the most up-to-date medicine that can be offered. She believes that a healthy pet is a happy pet, and a happy pet makes a happy home. When not in the clinic, Gabby can be found riffing away on her guitar, strolling the shores of Puget sound, or hiking with her beloved border collie.
Shannon started at Marine View as a part-time receptionist in August of 1996. After graduating from Seattle University in 2001 with a B.S. in pre-veterinary science, she changed positions and became a full-time assistant. After determining that this was definitely the career for her, she obtained her state and national veterinary technician license in 2002. Although she loves all aspects of being a technician, dentistry is her passion. She loves that Marine View encourages continued learning and excelling in this field.
In August 1996, Tina started at Marine View Veterinary Hospital after attending Western Washington University. She is the lead customer service representative and Co Practice Manager. Kelly has been part of the Marine View team since 1992. She feels the level of medical care and the feeling of family that Marine View provides cannot be found anywhere else. Kelly loves each and every day and feels extremely lucky to work with such amazing people. Her passions are client communication, anesthesia, and celebrating the human/animal bond. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and snuggling with her cat Pickle and Pug/Boston mix Manny.
Ashley started working at Marine View in February 2010. She has always loved working with and spending time with animals. Growing up, she was lucky to live on a little farm with four horses, a goat, five cats, and two dogs. She still has two of her horses; the oldest is Bandit, an Appaloosa she has had since she was three. Ashley and her husband share their home with three kitties: Drizzt, Rowan, and Stewart Little. The smallest members of their family are three Chihuahuas: Kosmo, Boomer, and Artemus (they run the house). Ashley has loved every minute of the time she has spent at Marine View.
Serena started working at MVVH after graduating Mount Rainier High School in 2009. Although she has no pets, she greatly enjoys taking care of yours! She spends her free time partaking in artistic hobbies, video games, and hanging out with family and friends.
Kate came to us from a human medical background. She has worked on trauma units both here at Harborview, Seattle as well as Wilcox, Kauai. Although she has moved around quite frequently between California, Oregon, Washington, & Hawaii she was fortunate to have stayed in one place long enough to foster a deep passion for all helpless animals great & small. She has come to love her ‘family’ at MVVH & enjoys all the different medical cases as well as the sweet cats & dogs she gets to meet every day. In her free time you can find her swimming, hiking, biking, camping, at yoga or simply curling up with a good book.
Jackie was very happy to join Marine View Veterinary Hospital in September 2016 after a deciding to move back into the medical front office following 10+ years of preschool teaching while raising 2 children through their school years. Now that her kids are grown and out of the house attending college, she is happy to return to full time hours in the exciting and rewarding veterinary field.
